Finally, after so many years of not having proper art classes, I am here. Finally taking a proper drawing class with graphite, charcoal, and other utensils involved. I have never worked with such a huge paper before. Never before have I touched an easel or used an art board. Everything was so new to me and when I saw everyone else's work, I was jealous of how much better at this they were than me. But no matter. I was here to succeed. So the prompt was to go outside, take a picture, and draw something in the picture. Mine ended up being this plant. I spent over 6 hours on it and I am very proud of it. It is now my pride and joy. Though it was very hard. I used 6B, 4B, and 2H level pencils to help me do this. I also used blenders and erasers a lot! But the outcome is the same. I love it. Here is the original picture that I used for it. Although the proportions are off, it is still my pride and joy
