My father was always obsessed with wolves. Always. It got to the point to where he considered buying random wolf paintings and pictures to hang up on his side of the wall. To further fuel his obsession, I created this a week before Father's Day as a gift for him. I first pencil sketched the design on paper, starting with the full wolf face first. Later, I incorporated the ripped "paper" that the wolf caused, making the drawing even more peculiar and terrifying to look at.
To get a better reference of wolves, I searched the internet for any kind of highlights or shadows I should remain aware of for the drawing. Time skip to when the drawing was done. Now, I had to choose colors and technique. I ended up going with colored pencil, making it the easiest way to shade and create a fur-like texture for the wolf. It did not work as well as I wanted it to for the ripped folds part of the drawing, but in the end, the drawing turned out better than I expected
